Formerly a protector of Yevon's temples, this legendary guardian of Spira once stood by High Summoner Braska on his pilgrimage to defeat Sin alongside his second guardian, Jecht. Ten years after the High Summoner's sacrificial victory, Auron, now undead, finds himself carrying out a favour promised to both his former comrades; to watch over Jecht's son Tidus, and to protect the young Summoner Yuna, Braska's daughter. Auron refuses to finally rest until his good wills meet a successful end, with Tidus a grown man living his own story and seeing Yuna a triumphant Summoner.
